PALS Class visits the library

The Cedar Vale Elementary PALS class came to visit the library on Monday, January 18, 2010. The PALS class all got library cards to take home and have their parents fill out, so that they can come back and check out books with their class. I gave them a tour of the library, and then showed them how to check out books. They all went to the children’s section and picked out books to look at. Most of them had never been to the library so I think it was a very fun experience for them!

Santa visits the library!

Santa with Raelyn Stone and Khloe Boyle

Saturday December 5th, 2009 Santa visited the library. Children came and sat on his lap and told him what they wanted for Christmas. The Chamber of Commerce passed out candy bars and apples to all the kids that came to see Santa. There was an excellent turn out. We had over 50 kids come and see Santa. We want to give a big thanks to the Chamber.
